Servings: 36 Apple Fritters
Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 cups milk
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 6 apples
- 8 cups canola oil for deep-frying
- granulated sugar
Instructions
- Blend flour, milk and salt to make smooth batter.
- Peel, core and slice apples into 1/4 inch (1 mm) thick slices. Dip apple slices into batter and deep-fry at 375 °F (190 °C) 2 to 3 minutes until lightly browned on both sides. Sprinkle with sugar while hot and serve immediately.
