Canadians will come together to enjoy and celebrate food and their stories – in person and online on Food Day Canada, August 3, 2024. Food Day Canada is a chance for all Canadians to join hands in one massive celebration in praise of our incredible food and the people who make it happen.
Who? Anyone and everyone who loves Canadian ingredients. Chefs, home cooks, farmers, ranchers, fishers, writers, winemakers, brewers, food processors, researchers…and the list goes on.
When? ALL Day Saturday, August 3, 2024
Where? Anywhere and everywhere. Backyard barbecues, picnics, potlucks, dine in, dine out. Enjoy Canadian-grown, Canadian-made food and drinks!
What’s Happening?
Canadians are coming together to declare Food Day Canada/ Journée des terroirs. We are shopping, cooking eating and celebrating across the nation. The spirit of pride will shine as iconic structures are being lit red and white in honour of our Canadian cuisine.
