Chickpeas are a versatile product that can easily be used in many recipes. Chickpeas are also sometimes called Garbanzo beans and are part of the pulse family.

Chickpeas can be found in grocery stores, as well as bulk food stores, ethnic grocery stores, and  health food stores. Several forms are available including canned, dried, frozen, and a flour form, Chickpeas can also be found in various pre-prepared food products.  In this lesson, we will discuss the various ways that chickpeas can be purchased.
